With the Document generator, you can easily insert images directly into a template — and they will automatically appear in every generated document.

This is convenient if, for example, you want to add a diagram, chart, signature of a person responsible, or any other image.

You don’t need to manually add images to documents each time. It’s enough to have already attached them to the CRM card you’re working with. After that, just use the Document generator.

Let’s go step by step ⬇️

How to add an image to a template?

🟣 First, your element cards must have a field of the Image type.

This field must be filled out..

☝🏻 If this field is multiple , the generated document will insert the first image added to it.

🟣 Second, when creating your document template, you need to add the character code of this field.

In this case, when the document is generated, the image will be inserted in its original size.

If you want the image to have a specific size, use modifiers to specify the height and width (in pixels).

💡 These are added to the character code of the field in the format: :X:Y

Where:

  • X = width

  • Y = height

For example, if the character code of the field without modifiers looks like this:

${DealsSignatureOfTheResponsiblePerson}

Then with modifiers it would be:

${DealsSignatureOfTheResponsiblePerson:100:75}

As a result, the image in the document will appear at the size you specified.
