By configuring a conditional action, you can automatically update a task’s status to Done as soon as its stage changes to Done. This is useful when work is considered finished after a certain stage, eliminating the need to manually update the status. Automation helps prevent missed tasks and keeps your processes organized
Step-by-step setup below ⬇️
Setting up the Conditional Action
Select the trigger. In our example, it’s a task change.
Set the condition. Specify the group whose tasks will trigger the automation.
.
Select the stage the task must move to in order for the automation to run.
💡 Both conditions must be met at the same time. The conditional action won’t work if you move a task from that group to any other stage.
Select Change fields as an action.
Select Task as the entity whose fields need to be changed.
Add the Status field and set it to Done.
Once everything is configured, click Create.
Result
Move a task from the specified group to the designated stage.
You’ll see that its status is automatically updated to Done ✅
