Everything will be found! These phrase can be used to describe the work of the global search at Uspacy.
Where is it located and what does it look like?
The global search bar is on all pages of Space. That is, you can use it in any section, either in the Newsfeed or in CRM.
When clicking, the search bar transforms a little and you can see category switches.
They help to specify in which section or sections you need to search. There are 6 such switches:
All - a wide data search among all the following ⬇️ sections of Space.
Company - search for employees and departments.
Tasks - task search.
СRM – search for CRM elements.
Groups - search for groups that can be displayed in the general list.
News - search for posts in the Newsfeed.
💡 In addition, the CRM category has more subdivisions. For example, you can specify that we search only among Contacts and Companies. To do this, simply uncheck the Deals and Leads.
Search Results
These are certain rows or blocks of information. They look a little different for each category. It depends on the section in which you search.
❗️Please note that in the global search, the output results are limited to 10 items for each category (Company, Tasks, Groups and News). The same rule applies to subcategories in CRM. That is, a maximum of 10 items of each entity will be displayed in the search results.
Company
Search result:
user - we can see the photo-avatar, first and last name of the employee (middle name, if such a format is specified in the settings), as well as the position;
department - information about the head, his/her photo, first and last name (middle name, if such a format is specified in the settings) is displayed.
❗️In this category, the search is carried out by the first name, last name (middle name, if such a format is specified in the settings) and position of the employee.
Task
The search result is the task with information about it:
task name (1);
deadline (2);
description (3);
person responsible (4) – photo, first and last name (middle name, if such a format is specified in the settings).
❗️In this category, the search is carried out by the name and task description.
CRM
The search results are CRM elements.
❗️In this category, the search is carried out by the name of a contact, company, deal or lead.
Groups
The search result is a group that is public, private or secret. The latter can only be found if you have access to it.

News
The search result is a post in the Newsfeed.
❗️In this category, the search is carried out by the title and text of the post.
The tracker above the name of the switch specifies how many elements were found.
And to reset the search results and close it, click on the cross in the upper right corner.
