There are five main steps to take to successfully migrate your data

💡 But before that, please check the relevance of the data that will be transferred from Monday. This will speed up the migration process to Uspacy.

Step 1. Get an API access token for Monday

To do this, first log in to the service.

Next, go to your account settings in the Administration section.

Open the Connections item.

On this page, go to the API tab and click Generate.

Now it remains only to copy the generated token.

Step 2. Start the migration process to Uspacy

In your Uspacy space, in which you plan to work with the data transferred from Monday, in the side menu, find the Settings section - the Import and migrations item.

In the list of possible systems to migrate from, select Monday and click Start migration.

In the window that opens, in the API key field, insert the token copied from Monday and click the Authorize button.

Step 3: Map the entities from Monday to the entities from Uspacy

At Uspacy, you can transfer all the entities you worked with in Monday. For example, standard ones like Companies, Contacts, Leads, and Deals.

Or those that were characteristic only for Monday. In this case, based on such entities, smart objects will be created as a result of the migration.

💡Their names can be left as they were in Monday, or just edit them.

Then proceed to the next step by clicking Next.

Step 4. Map the Monday entity fields (stages) to the Uspacy entity fields

The migration process with Monday is a certain "hybrid" of migration and import. Therefore, when transferring data, for the entities selected in the previous step, it is necessary to map the fields (stages). They are similar to those we import from a file into a CRM.

🔍 Therefore, we advise you to find out how to map such fields in the following article.

At the top of the page, you will see a list of entities that have been selected for migration. They are the ones to be mapped.

Step 5. Start the migration process

When all the fields and stages of the entities are mapped, the only thing you need to do is to click on the Next button. The data transfer process will start.

Now just wait for the import to finish to continue working with your data at Uspacy.
