Here we will tell you how to work with posts in the Newsfeed, add comments and reactions to them, as well as view attached files

The Newsfeed is a tool that will allow you to share important and relevant information with colleagues, stay in touch with all company news and significant upcoming events.

Here you can create posts, leave reactions and comments. Tell your colleagues about your own success, share achievements, results of the work, exchange ideas, share your experience and sincerely congratulate each other.

💡 Messages are sorted and displayed according to the recent activity in them. That is, if you leave a comment under the old post, it will be the first in the Newsfeed.

Posts

Every user of Space can create and publish a post in the Newsfeed. To do this, use the form for creating a post.

After the post is displayed in the Newsfeed of the author and recipients, it can be edited or deleted by anyone.

❗️ Of course, these options are only available to the user who created this post.

In addition, you can copy the link to the post.

💡 This action is available both to the author of the post and to its recipients.

Then you can send this link to colleagues in the chat.

Or, for example, add to the description of the task or to a comment.

To go to the link, you need to click on it. As a result, a new browser window will open with a specific post, not the entire Newsfeed.

❗️ Users who are not specified as recipients of the post will not be able to view it. The only exception is space administrators.

Comments and likes

After publishing a post, colleagues will be able to react to it using likes and comments.

Click on the emoji icon and select the desired one.

Under the post, you will also be able to see the number and types of reactions, as well as the names of the users who left them.

In addition to likes, you can add comments. To do this, start typing the text in the appropriate field.

In addition, the text of the comment can be formatted using the built-in editor.

You can also add an emoji to the comment. To do this, you need to use the built-in Character viewer (macOS) or the Emoji Panel (Windows).

To publish a comment, click the Send button.

As a result, it will appear under the post.

You can also Reply to a colleague by creating a comment thread.

Or react to the comment with the help of emojis 😉

The author of the comment can Edit or Delete it at any time.

The form for changes will open under the comment that you are going to edit.

After editing, click Send to publish the updated version.

💡 Since deleting a comment is an irreversible action, that is, it will not be possible to restore it, the system will notify about this and ask for additional consent.

Attached files

To view the file that was attached to the message, you need to click on it.

Files of the following formats are available for viewing in Space:

jpg, jpeg, gif, png, pdf, docx, txt, doc, ai, ppt, pptx, xls, xlsx, css, html, c, hpp, js

Here you can also save the file to your computer or download it by clicking on the special icon.
