One of the main goals of the group is to unite users for work on common projects. This is a convenient option, because each group has a set of tools that its members can use while working in it.

Feed

Each member of the group, regardless of their role, can create and publish their post in the Newsfeed at any time.

❗If you want all members of the group to be recipients of the post, then specify them individually.

After the post is published, it will be available only to those group members who are specified in the To field. They will be able to add their comments and reactions under your post.

Tasks

In addition to the Newsfeed, work on tasks is available in groups. When they are created, the Group field will be filled out automatically.

Such a task will be displayed in the task list of the group.

And also in the general list on the Tasks page. Use the filters to quickly find what you need.

In addition, all tasks are distributed to different stages on the Tasks board of the group.

The newly created task moves to the first stage. It is called Backlog. It contains all the tasks that will be completed within this group. They are not divided into stages yet.

But the Group tasks board is designed to make the work easier. It is common to all group members. The system includes 6 standard stages:

  • the previously mentioned Backlog;

  • To do (what you definitely plan to do in the near future);

  • In progress (tasks that somebody is currently working with);

  • Blocked (something that needs to be done, but there is no time or there are some difficulties when working with it);

  • Deferred (tasks that can be temporarily suspended or postponed);

  • Done (something that has already been done successfully).

Each of these stages can be renamed or deleted at all. And, of course, add your own ones. That is, your first stage may not be Backlog, but, for example, Scheduled.

Create your own Team tasks board, according to specific work processes and needs.

🌟 Only the owner and moderators of the group can configure stages.

Chat

You can easily create your own chat for each group. To do this, it is enough to click on the button of the same name in the upper right corner.

And confirm your actions.

After that, the chat automatically gets the name of the group in which it was created. It becomes available for communication and you can exchange messages with colleagues at once.

💡When changing group members, the number of chat participants is edited manually. That is, if a new user is added to the group, and the chat has already been created, then this user must be added manually, by editing the chat. The same actions are required when removing a member from the group.
